Relations with the institutional, business, and social environment are a key aspect of the work of any industry association. In representing the spirits industry in Poland, ZP PPS works together with numerous social partners, engages in meaningful dialogue with the public administration, asks experts their opinions, participates in projects shared with NGOs, and is involved in EU-level actions.

ZP PPS is a member of the following organizations:

International organizations

  • spiritsEurope – an organization representing the spirits industry at the European level, with 32 national associations as well as of the 8 leading spirits manufacturers in the world.

Polish organizations:

  • National Chamber of Commerce (Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza) – the largest independent business organization in Poland, with over 150 members. Established in 1990, the Chamber promotes the interests of Polish businesses internationally and works to foster a good image of Poland abroad. It organizes international exhibitions (Expos), economic missions, and national business exhibitions worldwide
  • Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (Związek Przedsiębiporców i Pracodawców) - unites employers of small and medium-sized companies, regardless of the industry they operate in. Since June 2010, the association has initiated and supports all activities aimed at eliminating restrictions on economic activity in the Polish legislation, exceeding the EU requirements and thus leveling out competitive opportunities between Polish and European companies.   
  • Advertising Council Union of Associations (Związek Stowarzyszeń Rada Reklamy) – a body that brings together the key stakeholders on the advertising market in Poland: the advertisers, advertising agencies, media houses, and the media. The Council ensures that advertising is honest, and works to eliminate misleading advertising, advertising that is in violation of social values, and advertising that may damage fair competition.

  • International Alliance for Responsible Drinking (IARD) – an organization that educates the public on responsible alcohol consumption and works to counteract alcohol addiction.
  • Scotch Whisky Association (SWA) – an association that represents the manufacturers of Scottish whisky in the European Union and worldwide.
  • Distilled Spirits Council (DISCUS) – an industry organization that represents the leading producers and marketers of distilled spirits in the United States.
  • International Wine & Spirit Research (IWSR) – the leading supplier of data and market information on wine and spirits.
